Day 1, Monday: Family Triathlon Training

My base training program - http://www.trinewbies.com/tno_trainingprograms/tno_HIM.asp.

Great start! Lorrie topped off yesterday's first day of training with a frigid swim in the Pasquatank River. Walked the golf course together while kids took their weekly lesson. Fresh dinner at home followed by a 3-mi bike sprint to YMCA (12:48); T1 (3:20); 1000yd swim - 300 w/u, 5 x 100 @ 2:00-2:05 w/15-sec rest (final 1:50), 200 cool down (25:22); T2 (3:43); 3-mi bike sprint home (12:51). Total 58:03. Home by 8:30pm. Family read, bed by 9:30.

Getting ready for 7-mi run to p/u mountain bike, ride home, breakfast, family 4-m bike loop, yard work. Forecast next 3 days is sunny, mid to high 80's. Couldn't have timed a better spring break! :-)
